Exhibit Design

Programs I Use: CAD Tools 10, Vector Works 2013, Sketch Up

  • Conceptualizes and develops overall look and feel for exhibition spaces; incorporating audio, video, artifacts
  • Produces CAD drawings of floor plans, elevations and interactives for fabrication bid packages and traveling exhibits
  • Produces biddable fabrication documents for production of exhibition graphics, signage and interactives
  • Prepares RFPs, Scopes of Work and detailed exhibit fabrication specifications for permanent and traveling exhibition projects
  • Manages project contracting as a COTR for graphic production, exhibit fabrication and installation
  • Reviews fabrication drawing packages for quality and conformance to design specifications
  • Selects and art directed illustrators, photographers and sculptors creating artwork for graphics, interactives and exhibit areas
  • Creates exhibit prototypes for audience testing and contracting fabrication

Graphic Design

Programs I Use: Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe In Design CC, Adobe Photoshop CC, Typekit

  • Designs 2D exhibition graphics (exhibit logos, interpretive graphics, multimedia, promotional marketing materials, outdoor banners)
  • Develops exhibit color palettes, typefaces and graphic hierarchies for permanent, traveling exhibitions and client presentations
  • Creates color boards, graphic and material specs for all exhibit projects
  • Creates and finalizes all graphic production files based on vendor specifications and proofs final graphics
  • Creates and manages exhibit graphic schedules through each phases of production to meet deadlines and budget requirements
  • Researched content, images and artwork for exhibitions to determine appropriate design solutions within budget
  • Designs and produces project proposal documents and deliverables packages for clients
  • Creates production, graphics schedules and cost estimates for fabrication bid packages

Digital Design

Programs I Use: HTML, CCS, Sublime Text, Adobe Dreamweaver CC, Adobe InDesign CC, iBooks Author, Typekit, In the process of learning JavaScript/JQuery: Coming Soon!

  • Create digital media concepts for 3D and 2D exhibits components and multimedia interactives
  • Design and developed eBook and ePubs for exhibitions
  • Build websites in HTML and CSS


Programs I Use: Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Bridge, DSLR, Lightroom, Aperture, Pixelmator

  • Photographer for exhibit content, 3D theatrical structures and exhibits
  • Research photos for exhibit content and obtain usage rights for images
  • Maintain project photo archive for graphic development and final production
  • Edit project photos and select all final photos for final graphic layouts
  • Art directed photo shoots, research photos, obtain rights and archive images for use in exhibits
